Job Summary

As a Food Service Worker with The Menta Group you will ensure the cleanliness organization and safety of the school kitchen while preparing and serving student meals.

Hourly Pay
8am-2pm M-F(No weekends no nights follows a school calendar)

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve breakfast and lunch for students with the assistance of student helpers
Coach mentor de-escalate and encourage students
Keep records of materials ingredients and supplies in kitchen
Stock and store food
Clean and maintain professional kitchen equipment
Assist with student supervision and learning

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required
Basic Food Handler certification required
Food Service Safety Manager Certification (FSSMC) license strongly preferred
Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
Food Handler Certification required (must obtain upon employment)
Previous experience working with special needs children preferred
Previous experience in Job Corp kitchen/food prep training welcomed
School cafeteria experience helpful
Restaurant and other food service experience helpful
