Job Summary

Locum - Physician - Cardiology - Petoskey MI

Join a top-tier health system in Petoskey MI seeking a Board Certified General Cardiologist for a weekend and extended locum tenens assignment. This role encompasses comprehensive cardiac care and will take place at a facility known for its dedicated team and patient-focused environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide specialized care in Cardiology covering both hospital and clinic call responsibilities from Sunday through Saturday.
Work 24-hour shifts from 6am to 6am with no outpatient clinic responsibilities.
Collaborate with an inpatient team supported by three Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
Utilize Cerner as the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
Perform required procedures such as echocardiography treadmill stress tests and chemical stress tests.
Interpret diagnostic studies effectively.

Qualifications:

Board Certified in Cardiology (REQUIRED)
Active Michigan medical license (REQUIRED)
Residency in or near Michigan (REQUIRED)
Clean background for quick credentialing (REQUIRED)
DEA verbal confirmation at name clear (REQUIRED)
Self-query NPDB pulled within the month (REQUIRED)

License and Certification Requirements:

Board Certification in Cardiology
Active Michigan State License (non-compact)
