Responsibilities

As a Senior Claims Specialist you will:

• Manage a portfolio of commercial casualty claims from initial investigation through resolution.
• Conduct detailed coverage liability damages and exposure analyses using policy language and legal principles.
• Establish accurate reserves and develop proactive resolution strategies.
• Handle litigated claims in collaboration with defense counsel.
• Negotiate settlements mediations and arbitrations independently.
• Communicate effectively with policyholders brokers attorneys and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare clear and concise reports on claim status financial exposure and resolution plans.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines.
• Participate in professional development and industry engagement opportunities.

Qualifications/Requirements

To be successful in this role you should bring:

• 510 years of experience in commercial general liability claims management.
• Proven expertise in handling litigated claims.
• Strong negotiation analytical and decision-making skills.
• Solid understanding of coverage analysis and litigation processes.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience (JD is a plus).
• A proactive mindset with a commitment to teamwork and continuous learning.
