Job Summary


Job Description:

The Quality Improvement Specialist supports organizational performance regulatory compliance and continuous improvement efforts through data analysis training competency development and quality project coordination. Working under the Director of Quality & Clinical Services this role collaborates across departments to improve patient care strengthen operational workflows ensure staff competency and maintain accreditation readiness. The Specialist conducts audits facilitates training coordinates improvement projects and provides coaching to support a culture of high-quality patient-centered care.


Job Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting (FQHC primary care integrated care behavioral health or OTP preferred).
  • Clinical background/licensure preferred:
    • Medical Assistant (MA) LPN or RN strongly preferred
  • Experience supporting clinical documentation audits/monitoring compliance tracking quality activities or training coordination.
  • Experience using an EHR and maintaining accurate documentation and records.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint Teams); ability to update trackers logs dashboards and training records using established templates.
  • Ability to travel locally between sites as needed.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must be able to pass pre- and continued employment screenings successfully.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant training licensure and/or certifications for this role.
    • Current immunization records
    • TB testing
    • Hepatitis B screening or declination
    • Valid BLS certification
    • Valid level 1 fingerprint clearance card

  • Must maintain current and unrestricted credentials in accordance with Valle del Sols Credentialing and Privileging requirements.
