Job Summary
About the Role
Were looking for an EHS Specialist to help maintain a safe compliant and high-performing manufacturing environment. This role partners closely with plant leadership operations and HR to support Environmental Health & Safety programs and promote a strong safety culture.
What Youll Do
- Assist in administering EHS programs at the plant level
- Conduct inspections audits and incident investigations
- Deliver EHS and new-hire safety training
- Support OSHA/EPA compliance documentation and reporting
- Track safety metrics and recommend improvement actions
- Coordinate hazardous and non-hazardous waste activities
- Partner with HR on workers compensation and return-to-work efforts
- Help identify and eliminate unsafe conditions or behaviors
What Were Looking For
- Degree in EHS Occupational Safety Industrial Hygiene Engineering or related field
(or equivalent experience) - Experience supporting EHS programs in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of OSHA/EPA regulations and safety standards
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable working on the plant floor and wearing PPE
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Manufacturing or industrial environment experience
- Professional certifications (ASP CSP CIH CHMM)
- Experience delivering safety training
