Job Description

1. Ensure accurate and meaningful communication flow between leadership and team to ensure alignment .
2. Conduct regular contribution and development discussion with employees (end-of-year discussions 1:1s and skip level discussions) and supports development investment for all team members .
3. Delivery timely Progressive Counseling when necessary to maintain safety compliance and appropriate behavior amongst team .
4. Establish and cascade departmental goals to ensure alignment with organizational goals .
5. Ensures all work is completed in an efficient and timely manner that prioritizes requirements for safety and quality at the highest level .
6. Oversees initiatives encompassing Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement philosophies and concepts .
7. Develops and maintains manufacturing operations business plans to include all program requirements labor hours cycle production costs and image .
8. Provides guidance to the development of a manufacturing process plan including personnel requirements material needs subcontract requirements facility needs and tooling and equipment needs .
9. Ensures all established costs quality and delivery commitments are met .
10. Coordinates manufacturing activities with all other functions of the organization and suppliers to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources machines and equipment .
11. Reviews production and operating reports and directs the resolution of operational manufacturing and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays .
