Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Interventional Radiology (IR) to deliver high-quality patient-centered care. The ideal candidate will be experienced in procedural nursing including sedation and telemetry monitoring and thrive in a collaborative fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based nursing care in accordance with established policies and standards
- Communicate effectively with patients families and interdisciplinary teams
- Administer medications using advanced safety technologies (e.g. bar-code scanning)
- Perform and document patient assessments care plans interventions and outcomes
- Deliver patient and family education focused on health wellness and disease management
- Support safe patient discharge and continuity of care
Patient Population
- Adult patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of relevant nursing experience
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) Required
- Active RN License (State-specific or Compact)
- BLS (AHA) Required
- ACLS Required
- PALS Required
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of Interventional Radiology (IR) experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Experience with telemetry monitoring
- Strong adaptability and ability to work in a dynamic environment
Required Skills
- Experience with conscious sedation
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
