Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant Outpatient

Inova Physical Therapy Center is looking for Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (LPTA ) to join our outstanding growing team. We work with Inova Sports/Ortho Trauma and Podiatrist Physicians. This position is full-time Day Shifts - (40 hrs/ week) - Monday- Friday and two evening shifts per week until 7:00pm. Clinic hours are Monday-Thursday 7:00am-7:00pm Friday 7:00am-4:00pm.

Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant 1 Job Responsibilities:

• The Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant 1 adheres to department policies regarding time frame appropriate form and content of written rehabilitation documentation.
• Communicate effectively with patients family medical staff care team members students supervisors and outside contacts.
• Completes all administrative and other responsibilities in support of the operating unit.
• Demonstrates essential skill in the use of treatment modalities equipment and protocols.
• Performs reassessments according to state and facility guidelines while adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
• May perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Education: Associate degree from a licensed physical therapy assistant program.
• Experience: Graduate of a licensed physical therapy assistant program new graduate of a licensed physical therapy assistant program
• Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association required upon start.
• Licensed: VA License Physical Therapy Assistant required upon start
