The Difference You Make:
The Sr. Specialist Platform & Delivery Management is a key member of the team and is responsible for enterprise applications and system reliability and security by designing implementing administering and delivering enterprise application addition s/he collaborates as part of a cross-functional Agile team to create and enhance software that enables state of the art next generation distributed systems which are cloud-based streaming reactive event-driven.
- Supports and manages the SCCM AppSense Health Monitoring and VDI (both local and virtualized desktop) environments.
- Deploys enterprise-level software into the environment (both local and virtualized desktop) through extensive analysis design preparation and testing.
- Implements enterprise-wide optimized user personalization through thorough research streamlining testing and optimization.
- Responsible for researching and testing solutions to application technical issues including using scripting methods to optimize and automate where possible.
- Performs unit tests and conducting reviews with other team members to make sure your code is rigorously designed elegantly coded and effectively tuned for performance.
- Builds microservice-oriented systems.
- Develops and deploys distributed and streaming applications using Open Source frameworks such as Kafka Avro Akka Storm OpenShift Kubernetes Docker Node and more.
- Leverages DevOps techniques and practices like Continuous Integration Continuous Deployment Test Automation Build Automation and Test-Driven Development to enable the rapid delivery of working code utilizing tools like Jenkins Maven Git and Docker.
- Evangelizes technology and architecture patterns among other teams within the organization.

- Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience: Computer Science Engineering or a equivalent discipline. - Required.
- 3 Years Experience in software development. - Required.
- Very good understanding of enterprise architecture patterns.
- Extensive hands-on experience solving business problems with software.
- Understanding of the challenges of working with distributed and multi-threaded systems along with experience monitoring those systems and troubleshooting problems.
- Solid project management and organizational skills.
- Teaches others and is open to learning.

- Established work history or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience training military service or education.
- Experience in Microsoft Office products.
What Else You Need To Know:
The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt) the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills experience training licensure and certifications and location.
