Job Title: IT Logistics/Supply Technician

Location(s): Monterey CA

Hours: Regular Full-Time

Salary Range: $75k/yr - $80k/yr

What you will be doing:

Provides hands-on technical support in the Technical Distribution Center (TDC) including imaging staging issuing and lifecycle replacement of end-user devices (desktops laptops tablets mobile devices). Supports IT supply inventory and asset management functions in accordance with DLIFLC policies.

Position Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

Experience:

• Image and reimage laptops desktops and tablets for students staff and faculty (supporting lifecycle refresh of 2500 systems annually).
• Conduct hardware issuance receiving and warranty coordination (Return Material Authorization processing).
• Maintain IT asset inventory (over 10000 devices) perform monthly inspections and update online asset tracking systems.
• Support warehousing shipping and receiving functions for DLIFLC equipment.
• Respond to TDC service desk tickets logging all requests in Ivanti within 15 minutes.
• Prepare and maintain paperwork for supply transactions ensuring compliance with government property tracking standards.

Education:

• (AA/AS) in Information Technology
• or related field
• or High School Diploma with at least 2 years of hands-on IT support/supply experience.

Certifications:

• CompTIA A or equivalent technical certification (imaging/desktop support)

Physical Demands

This is largely a sedentary role; however some filing is required. The ability to move files open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary would be required.
