Job Summary/Description:
KLTV / KTRE has an opening for a Programming Coordinator. This position works with the major broadcast networks to maintain the programming schedules. Additionally duties include interfacing with the broadcast ratings services as well as fulfilling reporting obligations to the FCC and assisting with the planning of special events.
Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Communicate with ABC Telemundo and Bounce on programming lineups delineate program information to the local team check discrepancy reports and reconcile.
- Daily interaction with broadcast ratings services - Nielsen and Comscore
- Coordinate program changes with the Gray Media traffic/programming hub
- Manage Paid Programming availabilities
- Prepare regular industry-level reports to the FCC music licensing Public File updates as well as the FCC Childrens Programming report
- Special employee event planning as directed by the General Manager
Qualifications:
- Office 365
- Ability to communicate in-person virtually and in written forms
- Must be able to organize multiple systems of programming grids and calendars
