Expected hours of work per week: 10-15

Work Location & Hours: Mills Hall from 7 pm to 10 pm Monday through Thursday.

Qualifications for Position:

• Students must have completed PHY 231 with a grade of B or above and must be approved by the instructor of that class. Students are expected to continue the calculus-based physics sequence again maintaining a B in each class.
• Students must be able to interact with other students in a positive supporting manner.
• Students must be able to lift 25 lbs.

Expected Duties and Responsibilities:

• Workers are required to tutor students in both algebra and calculus-based physics classes and assist the faculty member in grading lab reports as directed by the instructor.
• Other responsibilities would involve filing setting up lab equipment and monitoring students who are making up missed labs.
