The Chapman Radio Events Coordinator supports in the development and execution of internal and external events for the organization.
Responsibilities
Coordinate monthly events within Chapman Radio (including but not limited to: station activities bondings and class meetings). Coordinate monthly external events (including but not limited to: open mics match-o-matics and other collaborations). Maintain and build relationships with campus affairs and community members. Frequently coordinate with advisor(s) throughout the event planning process to ensure compliance with university policies. Spearhead all Chapman Radio tabling events. Collaborate with the Events Team and gauge interests of the organization. Must have experience with running a soundboard speakers and related equipment. Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Previous event planning or sound running experience. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment. Demonstrated reliability and commitment to Chapman Radios mission and community. Basic understanding of radio operations with willingness to learn new technical skills. Previous involvement with Chapman Radio or comparable media/broadcasting experience.
