Job Summary
Position Summary
Walsh University is seeking qualified candidates to teach Art History courses in the General Education program at Walsh University. Courses may include Art History 101 (general survey) as well as courses covering specific style periods (Medieval Renaissance etc). Candidates may teach 2-3 classes per semester.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include but are not limited to the following:
- On-campus teaching required (no online teaching)
- Teaching courses in Art History
- Working with ECN (our online class portal)

Required Qualifications (Knowledge Skills and Abilities)
Must demonstrate an understanding the Walsh UniversityStatement of Faithand acommitment to support theMission VisionValues and Code ofEthical Conductof Walsh University in accordance with Ex Corde Ecclesiae and the Catholic intellectual tradition and possess the following:
Education:Masters Degree required with at least 18 hours in Art History. MFA preferred.
Work Experience:Demonstration of teaching experience preferred.
Skills and abilities:
- Professional demeanor and ability to interact with charity towards students staff and faculty. Positive attitude a must.

- Regular demands of in-person teaching interacting with students moving around room.

- Must possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel in a professional and effective manner
