Ohio State University Physicians (OSUP) is seeking aRemote Emergency Radiologistto join the rapidly expanding Department of Radiology at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely while contributing to one of the nations leading radiology programs.
The Department of Radiology is experiencing significant growth across itsclinical educational and research missions positioning Ohio State as a national leader in imaging innovation and care delivery. A key pillar of this growth is theCenter for Imaging Excellence (CIE) which brings together multidisciplinary teams to accelerate translational research across MRI CT and PET imaging.

Clinical Environment
Clinically the Department of Radiology is expanding to meet growing patient demand and to support the Wexner Medical CentersImpact 2035strategic vision. Major investments include:
- A newly opened820 bed inpatient hospital tower
- A newBiomedical Research Tower
- TheInterdisciplinary Health Sciences Center
- Expansion of ambulatory care centers inNew Albany Dublin and Powell in addition to established imaging sites throughout central Ohio
These investments enhance access capacity and the delivery ofhigh-quality patient-centered imaging services.
Division of Emergency Radiology
The Division of Emergency Radiology provides comprehensive diagnostic imaging support for the Emergency Department with expertise in:
- Radiography
- CT
- Ultrasound
- MRI
Division members play an integral role in emergent image interpretation and clinical consultation working closely with emergency medicine providers and multidisciplinary teams.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Interpret Emergency Department imaging studiesremotely
- Provide high-quality timely patient care for emergency imaging cases
- Contribute to day-to-day clinical operations of the Emergency Radiology Division
- Support clinical and imaging workflows related to emergency services
Required Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O.
- Board eligible or board certified in Radiology (ABR or ABOR)
- Completion of a subspecialty fellowship in diagnostic radiologyorrelevant Emergency Radiology experience at time of appointment
- Remote opportunities are available to candidates residing in all US states with the exception of Ohio
- Ohio residents applywithin The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center
