Job Summary
Frequently works independently to identify and perform tasks as required to meet Vistra objectives. Supports the gathering and analysis of information necessary for Vistra initiatives or to solve complex problems. The position will develop and maintain effective working relationships with others including external to the company.
Job Description
Key Accountabilities:
Identifies and performs task as required to meet objectives
Lead interpretation and analysis of complex issues
Coordinates assigned projects studies and initiatives through completion
Comply with safety policy and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Prepare and present reports including recommendations to resolve complex issues
Participate in and on occasion lead special project and committees including external organizations
Lead complex problem-solving efforts
Education Experience and Skill Requirements:
4-year Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical Civil Chemical Industrial Nuclear) from an accredited program.
Minimum 6 years of relevant job experience
Familiarity with the following preferred:
NRC-mandated Appendix III MOV Program commitments/requirements
Mechanical aspects of valve/actuator function
Electrical aspects of print-reading and control logic
VOTES Infinity and/or Quiklook diagnostic testing and analysis software
MIDAS MOV calculation analysis and trending software.

Teamwork and collaboration skills across organizational boundaries
Able to communicate complex issues effectively through written and verbal communication
Able to influence by establishing effective working relationships across organizational boundaries
In-depth understanding of power plant equipment and system interrelationships
Able to evaluate technical alternatives in light of their economic contribution to the business
Able to apply systematic problem - solvingprocesses to address complex issues
