Job Title: Shipping CoordinatorLocation: Gahanna OhioContract Type: Temp-to-HireRate: Starting at $23/HRPosition Overview:The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and executing daily shipping operations in a fast-paced job shop environment. This role ensures accurate order fulfillment inventory management and shipment coordination while supporting team operations and stepping in for the Shipping Lead as needed. This position plays a key role in delivering high-quality precision-manufactured metal products within the power Responsibilities:Coordinate and manage daily shipping activitiesPack products for shipment according to customer ordersPrepare and stage shipments based on pick lists and back ordersLoad and unload trucks using a forklift and pallet jackMaintain accurate inventory within the ERP system (Made2Manage preferred)Assist with and support inventory control processesOrganize jobs materials and resources to support daily operationsMaintain logs for ordering and replenishing packing materials; coordinate with purchasingSupport and back up the Shipping Lead as needed including supervising daily operationsEnsure all processes and procedures are followed accurately and consistentlyPosition Requirements:24 years of experience in shipping logistics or a related fieldStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExperience managing or supporting inventory systems (ERP experience preferred)Ability to multitask prioritize and work in a fast-paced environmentPrevious supervisory or team leadership experienceAbility to perform physical work including loading/unloading materialsCommitment to following established processes and proceduresPreferred Qualifications:Experience with Made2Manage (M2M) or similar ERP systemsProficiency in Microsoft Word Excel or other business softwareJob shop or manufacturing environment experienceDOT Certification (active or ability to obtain)High school diploma or equivalent
