Shipping Coordinator

Shipping CoordinatorPay: minimum $23 an hour (Dependent on Experience)Hours: Monday Friday 7am 3:30pmJob Summary The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and executing daily shipping operations in a fast-paced job shop environment. This role ensures accurate order fulfillment inventory management and shipment coordination while supporting team operations and stepping in for the Shipping Lead as needed. This position plays a key role in delivering high-quality precision-manufactured metal products within the power and manage daily shipping activitiesPack products for shipment according to customer ordersPrepare and stage shipments based on pick lists and back ordersLoad and unload trucks using a forklift and pallet jackMaintain accurate inventory within the ERP system (Made2Manage preferred)Assist with and support inventory control processesOrganize jobs materials and resources to support daily operationsMaintain logs for ordering and replenishing packing materials coordinate with purchasingSupport and back up the Shipping Lead as needed including supervising daily operationsEnsure all processes and procedures are followed accurately and consistentlyAssist with other duties as assigned based on business Experience: 24 years of experience in shipping logistics or a related fieldEducation: High school diploma or equivalent Skills: Experience with Made2Manage (M2M) or similar ERP systemsProficiency in Microsoft Word Excel or other business softwarePhysical Requirements: Ability tolift up to 75 to stand bend squat reach pull and push throughout the attendance and ability to meet physical demands of the Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to in managing or supporting inventory systems (ERP experience preferred)Ability to multitask prioritize and work in a fast-paced environmentPrevious supervisory or team leadership experienceOther Requirements: Must pass a drug screen and background Certification (active or ability to obtain)
