Job Summary
.Job Description
The Winding Technician is responsible for ensuring a proficient flow of product with quality and safety at the forefront every day; wind and store fibrous material.
Responsibilities & Duties
Inspect test document and communicate all findings during the rewind process
Test condition of winding according to EASA standards
Dismantle and/or strip damaged or unserviceable equipment
Prepare all reusable parts for rewind and inspect renewed parts for hidden structural damage or unusual conditions
Observe proper insulating techniques and/or requirements during rewinding
Administer required daily maintenance on assigned lines
Identify and solve problems in fabrication process without compromising quality of product
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
High School Diploma or equivalent
0-2 years of manufacturing experience
Must work well in a team environment
Ability to multi-task
Must possess strong communication and organizational skills
Self-motivated to work independently with high regards to quality of product
