Job Summary
The Poker Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of Supervising Tournament play during the WSOP Circuit Event.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates an effective working knowledge of Supervision policies and gaming procedures.
- Has knowledge in all areas of Poker Tournament play including but not limited to rules of play registration and facts about the current player of the year standings.
- Required to communicate all pertinent information to dealers staff and other departments.
- Communicate with staff/other departments to ensure accurate transactions.
- Creates an opportunity for fun and excitement by being friendly supportive and enthusiastic towards guests.
- Adheres to Caesars Entertainments appearance standards.
- Demonstrates positive acceptance of demanding scheduling needs.
- Helps to maintain a clean and friendly environment for our guests by cleaning around the work area.
- Able to oversee employees and give clear direction of their role and responsibility.
- Oversee the performance of front of house employees/dealers.
- Always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars and encourages others to do the same.
- Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory departmental and company policies.
- Supervisor must complete their daily assignments paperwork as it relates to their shift responsibility and duties.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Must be able to successfully complete a basic math test and pass a Caesars audition displaying adequate Poker skills.
- Excellent employee and customer service skills are essential.
- Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.
- Must present a well-groomed appearance.
- Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino including in and around assigned Pit area up and down stairs in Theater during entire shift.
- Must be able to bend reach kneel twist and grip items as necessary.
- Must be able to respond calmly and make rational decisions when handling guests demands in a fast pace environment.
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke high noise levels bright lights and dust.
- Must be able to read verify and sign appropriate documents relating to the game in a small area.
- Must be able to quickly and accurately perform mathematical computations when determining winners and losers and collecting and paying out bets.
- Must possess good manual dexterity for quick and accurate handling of chips cards and money.
- Must accurately balance chip bank at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Excellent vision (including peripheral) is needed to protect the games.
- Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.
- Must be able to read write speak and understand English.
- Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
