Job Description

Sr. Material Handleris responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations in the warehouse/packaging areas including support for production with material flow inventory control and other general warehouse/packing duties.
The successful incumbent will drive successful safety quality and delivery metrics through continuous improvement efforts by teaching training and leading team members.

How Will YouMakeanImpact:

Workingwithateaminafast-pacedenvironmentassemblingproduct.

A Day in the Life:

  • Manually assemble tubing and connectors to be used in the medical industry

  • Read manufacturing drawings and follow standard procedures

  • Manufacture bags applying standard procedures (SOP) in accordance with product blueprint

  • Record and completeaccuratedocumentation according to GMP requirements

  • Drive safetycultureandqualityinallactivities

  • Responsible for performing visual inspection on in-process and finished products and raise to leadership when appropriate

  • Workingwithateaminafast-pacedenvironmentassemblingproduct

  • Participate in the Lean PPI (PracticalProcessImprovement)culturethrough Tier boards GEMBA JDI RCCM and/ or Kaizen events

Education:

High school diplomaorequivalentrequired.

Experience:

  • Required: 2 years of manufacturing or lab or production experience

  • Preferred:ExperienceinacGMP environment

Knowledge Skills Abilities:

  • Follow all safety protocols

  • Drivequalityinallactivities

  • Stand and move about including reaching bending stooping grasping

  • Use hand tools and equipment including forceful gripping grasping pushing and pulling

  • Infrequently lift and manipulate up to 50 pounds max unassisted

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

  • Ability to work in afastpacedcontrolled cleanroom environment 8 hours a day with additionalovertimeastheneedarisesfor production schedule adherence

  • The Clean-room is controlled environment for temperature and humidity having low ambient noise.

  • Specific gowning is required including: gloves hair & beard net and face cover safety glasses with no makeup / jewelry and the like.

  • Ability to use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and understand chemical hygiene
