Work in a safe manner at all times and report any unsafe conditions to your supervisor in order that the situation can be corrected. Report all accidents and near misses in a timely manner when they proper ergonomics at all times when performing assigned meet and maintain all customer quality standards as well as the standards of the clientTo perform daily cross-functional job assignments in all areas of your assigned department per the established procedures and work and support all lean continuous improvement programs initiatives and or exceed daily production goals as directed by the Production Team Leader and the departmental all assigned work areas after completion of the required work return all tools to proper storage area at the end of the shift and report any malfunctioning equipment to the Production Team and report all data required to maintain daily production records and submit the data to the Production Team Leader for input into the MEHP data collection all non-conforming parts to the appropriate reprocess proper radio etiquette when using company radios business use be able to work overtime in accordance with Company all assigned tasks per the work guidance sheets TPMs and quality ResponsibilitiesAssist other forklift drivers as Daily Forklift Inspections and turn in to the Safety propane tanks in accordance with established safety procedures including the wearing of proper in rotating schedule to update 5s other duties as assigned by the production Team RequirementsAbility to read write and speak English effectively along with basic mathematical skills successfully complete and pass the theory and practical training module as stated in the Forklift Safety Policy to obtain a license and operate a successfully pass a practical re-certification audit every three years or as required through OSHA forklift experience preferred as well as an understanding of manufacturing position requires a person to have the ability to perform work while standing or walking a minimum of four (4) hours a day the ability to lift up to15 pounds on a frequent basis and up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis and the ability to perform work that is below the knees and above the shoulders on an occasional basis. Must have full range of motion of neck shoulders knees waist and torso. Frequent repetitive motion is required for a minimum of (4) four hours per day. This position also requires a person to be capable of performing sustained motion for a minimum of eight (8) hours a day. Good vision at a close distance is required. This position may involve outdoor work year round with exposure to both hot and cold temperatures.
