Overview
TalentFish is casting a line for a PMO Manager (IT). This is a Full-Time role in Chicago Illinois.
The reason this position exists is to ensure successful delivery of enterprise IT projects by establishing standardized project management practices driving portfolio alignment and leading project execution to achieve strategic business and digital transformation goals.
What You Bring to the Role. (Ideal Experience)
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Healthcare or a related field OR Associates degree with 910 years of relevant experience
Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience including managing or operating within a Project Management Office (PMO) preferably in a healthcare IT environment
Strong understanding of PMO workflows governance and delivery frameworks in healthcare settings
Demonstrated leadership experience managing project managers and cross-functional teams
Experience with portfolio prioritization financial tracking and resource planning
Strong knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g. HIPAA cybersecurity standards)
Excellent communication stakeholder management and influencing skills
Proven ability to solve complex problems and drive continuous improvement
Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Office Suite and Visio
What Youll Do. (Skills Used in this Position)
Define and enforce PMO standards governance frameworks and project intake/prioritization processes
Oversee end-to-end delivery of IT programs and projects (e.g. EHR ERP cybersecurity analytics) ensuring alignment to scope schedule budget and quality goals
Manage project financials including budgets capital and operating expenses and benefits realization
Lead risk issue and dependency management across enterprise initiatives
Collaborate with stakeholders across clinical IT finance compliance and executive leadership to ensure alignment and transparency
Provide executive-level reporting dashboards and actionable insights on project and portfolio performance
Lead mentor and develop project managers while enhancing PMO delivery capabilities and maturity
Manage vendor relationships contracts and third-party performance to ensure value realization
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations cybersecurity standards and internal controls through quality reviews and audits
Drive continuous improvement through process optimization KPI tracking and adoption of best practices
Coordinate resources support strategic planning and proactively address business and customer needs
Monitor project portfolios and resolve risks and issues in collaboration with delivery teams
Support team development performance management and career growth initiatives
Compensation Information
The expected salary range for this position is $59.51 - $88.67 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. This role also qualifies for comprehensive benefits such as health insurance 401(k) and paid time off. TalentFish is committed to pay transparency and equal opportunity. The salary range provided is in compliance with applicable state and federal regulations.
