This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an experienced perioperative nurse leader ready to take ownership of a growing surgical services program and drive meaningful operational transformation.

Youll have full 24/7 accountability for perioperative services across a 128-bed acute care hospital including the OR PACU same day surgery sterile processing endoscopy and pre-op optimization. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who can elevate performance expand surgical volume and partner effectively with physicians and executive leadership.

What Youll Do

• Lead all clinical operational and financial aspects of surgical services
• Drive OR efficiency throughput and block utilization to support growth
• Standardize workflows improve scheduling access and optimize case volume
• Build and stabilize teams while reducing reliance on contract staff
• Partner with surgeons to enhance collaboration and support program expansion
• Ensure high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance

What You Bring

• RN license (New Jersey) and BSN required (Masters preferred or in progress)
• 23 years of perioperative leadership experience (OR required)
• Proven ability to lead through change growth and performance improvement
• Strong understanding of KPIs such as block utilization and turnover times
• Visible hands-on leadership style with the ability to engage staff and physicians
