Position Summary:

Responsible for moving and loading furniture on and off of appropriate trucks and/or warehouse racks by scanning lifting carrying pushing and pulling furniture. Required to read labels verify numbers memorization and carrying out instructions and working rapidly for long periods of time. Most tasks are well defined and require general judgment or interpretation. This is a physically demanding position.

• A background in leadership mentoring and/or coaching

• Experience and understanding of warehouse sortation transportation or order fulfillment environments

• Experience performing basic computer functions

Requirements:

• Position can be physically demanding requiring long hours standing walking stooping and physical agility and dexterity and is subject to weather extremes

• Ability to lift 75 lbs

• Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 75 lbs. with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent

• May require the ability to use PC and RF-based computer systems to perform tasks

• May require the use of manual or powered pallet jacks

• May require the operation of powered lift trucks and/or floor sweepers

• General maintenance abilities a plus
