Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Cardiovascular Intensive Care (CVICU) to provide high-acuity patient care in a critical care environment. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing complex cardiac cases and adaptable to a rotating shift schedule based on unit needs.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to critically ill cardiac patients
Monitor and manage hemodynamic status ventilators and cardiac support devices
Interpret ECG rhythms and respond to acute changes in patient condition
Administer medications and advanced cardiac therapies
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Patient Population

Adult Cardiovascular Intensive Care patients

Required Qualifications

Minimum 18 months of recent CVICU experience
Minimum 18 months of permanent RN experience in specialty prior to travel assignments
Active RN License (Ohio or Compact State)
BLS (AHA or equivalent) Required
ACLS Required
NIHSS Certification Required
