Position Summary

We are seeking motivated and curious AI Interns to support the design testing and implementation of artificial intelligence initiatives across business functions. Interns will be embedded within IT and business functions to identify scope and build AI use cases across our Microsoft 365 ecosystem and SaaS platforms including Costpoint Deltek Talent Salesforce Paycom and Concur gaining real-world experience on production systems from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with designated business function leads and IT mentors to identify document and prioritize artificial intelligence opportunities across Microsoft 365 (Teams SharePoint Outlook Excel) Power Platform and SaaS platforms including Costpoint Deltek Talent Salesforce Paycom and Concur
• Conduct research on emerging AI technologies and industry best practices
• Design test and refine prompts and AI workflows using Microsoft 365 Copilot Copilot Studio OpenAI (ChatGPT) Google Gemini Anthropic Claude and other approved generative AI tools to augment business processes
• Analyze data and prepare insights to support decision-making
• Document processes solutions and user guides for implemented automations
• Collaborate with assigned IT mentor and business function sponsor to gather requirements and validate solutions

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science Information Systems Data Science Business Analytics or a related field
• Interest in AI automation or digital transformation
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate Power Apps Power BI) is strongly preferred; experience with Python SQL or REST APIs is a plus
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred

• Hands-on experience with generative AI platforms such as Microsoft 365 Copilot OpenAI (ChatGPT) Google Gemini or Anthropic Claude in a professional or academic setting
• Proficiency in Power BI or comparable data visualization tools; familiarity with SharePoint or Teams as a reporting and communication layer
