Seeking a Part Time Facilities Manager on our Lockport Corps Team

SCOPE AND PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Plan direct and coordinate operations of all Salvation Army facilities in Lockport NY. This includes both inside the building and the grounds year-round ensuring the safety of guests while onsite.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Work with and keep Office Manager informed of activities needs and problems with the Salvation Army properties in Lockport NY.
Maintain the facilities to ensure its cleanliness safety and functionality.
Perform grounds maintenance as needed including mowing trimming in summer and snow removal at sidewalk entrances where the contractor cannot plow in winter.
Maintain Monthly statistical reports for soup kitchen and mobile pantry.
Be available during soup kitchen hours to keep eyes on the area.
Coordinate the pickup of donations from local grocery stores.
General duties such as setting up special events ordering supplies taking down resetting rooms for programs.
Seasonal activities such as fundraising as directed by the supervisor.
Qualifications
SPECIAL SKILLS CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATIONS:
Valid drivers license required
Knowledge of food safety is a plus; ServSafe training can be provided by the employer
Ability to navigate Microsoft Office applications
Ability to hitch a trailer and drive a 12-passenger van with a trailer
Ability to operate equipment such as a snow blower lawn mower and trimmer
