6. Your Role as the Physical Therapist Assistant

As a PRN PTA you will support residents in regaining mobility independence and confidence.

Responsibilities include:
Implementing and progressing treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising Physical Therapist
Delivering skilled therapy focused on mobility balance and functional independence
Treating residents across the continuum of care as needed
Communicating effectively with the interdisciplinary team
Supporting continuity of care through clear documentation and teamwork
Assisting with clinical education and mentorship opportunities when applicable

Basic Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
