Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract)
Shift: 12-Hour Days (07:00 AM 07:30 PM) Call

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Labor Delivery Recovery and Postpartum (LDRP) unit. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise in maternal and newborn care and be comfortable managing both laboring patients and postpartum assignments in a dynamic environment.

Unit Details:

24-bed LDRP unit
OB Maternal Level 2 Nursery Level 1

Patient Ratios:

Labor & Delivery: 12:1
Postpartum: 34:1

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive care across labor delivery recovery and postpartum phases
Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery
Assist with deliveries and provide immediate newborn care
Manage postpartum recovery and patient education
Collaborate with physicians midwives and interdisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate documentation in EMR

Call Requirement:

12 hours of call per calendar month

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience
Active RN license (state-specific or compact as applicable)
BLS ACLS and NRP certifications (required)
Experience with Epic EMR
Degree accreditation must be on profile or candidate must have 5 years of experience
