Scientist Biochemistry

• Perform physical chemical and instrumental analysis of active pharmaceutical ingredients and finished pharmaceutical products (tablets capsules parenterals devices aerosols liquids creams and gels)
• Run the instrumentation independently including but not limited to various chromatographic systems
• Preparing samples for analysis and running some instrumentation with minimum supervision
• Set up and validate new analytical or related processes used by the department
• Prepare standards and samples for analysis
• Execute method transfer protocols
• Document work as required for GMP compliance
• Perform monthly maintenance of laboratory equipment

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in chemistry biology biochemistry or related degree concentration
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• Good dexterity; positive attitude; solution driven; good work habits (organized efficient careful safety-conscious accurate); attention to detail; sound scientific logic; good oral and written communication skills; understanding of multiple instrumentation platforms; client service focused; demonstration of organizational skills; ability to independently work on complex projects; ability to multitask; technical writing skills
• Familiarity with Biochemistry techniques.
• Familiarity with Electrophoresis and Chromatography
• Familiarity with aseptic technique and handling biologic samples ( monoclonal antibodies recombinant proteins antibody-drug conjugates vaccines)
• Possess a basic understanding of instrumentation used in a Biochemistry lab.

Additional Information :
