Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Pool Attendant & Facilities Custodian to maintain a clean safe and welcoming pool environment while supporting general custodial operations throughout the hotel. This role plays an important part in delivering a positive guest experience by ensuring high cleanliness safety and water quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Pool Area Duties

• Monitor pool area for cleanliness safety and guest comfort
• Maintain proper towel supply and organize pool seating areas
• Clean and sanitize pool deck furniture and surrounding areas
• Test monitor and balance pool chemicals in accordance with health and safety regulations
• Maintain accurate chemical and maintenance logs
• Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
• Enforce pool rules in a professional and courteous manner

Custodial Duties

• Clean and sanitize public areas including restrooms hallways and fitness areas
• Sweep mop vacuum and remove trash throughout assigned spaces
• Replenish supplies such as soap paper products and cleaning materials
• Assist with deep cleaning projects as scheduled
• Follow hotel safety and sanitation standards

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Current CPO (Certified Pool Operator) certification required
• Demonstrated pool operations knowledge including water chemistry and safety practices
• Previous custodial hospitality or pool attendant experience preferred
• Willingness to complete required training and follow proper operational procedures
• Ability to work independently and stay organized
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Ability to stand walk and lift up to 40 lbs
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
