Grounds Person

Pay Rate: $18/ hour - Use our Daily Pay benefit and get access to your pay as you need it. 

As the Grounds Person you will  help maintain the cleanliness safety and appearance of our resort. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands on outdoor work takes pride in keeping spaces clean and orderly and can work independently with minimal supervision. What you will do:

• Operate pickup trucks golf carts and other light equipment to complete daily duties.
• Empty all outdoor trash cans including pool areas and community spaces.
• Pick up debris along curbs walkways and throughout the resort grounds.
• Maintain walkways roads and common paths through regular leaf blowing and debris removal.
• Power wash walkways patios and other outdoor surfaces as needed.
• Clean and maintain BBQ grills to ensure they are safe and ready for guest use.
• Rake and level the sand volleyball court to maintain an even and safe playing surface.
• Clean gutters and downspouts to ensure proper drainage and prevent buildup.
• Perform ice and snow removal on walkways roads and entryways to maintain safe access during winter months.
• Monitor outdoor areas for potential hazards and address or report them promptly.
• Paint curbs parking spaces and other designated areas to maintain clear marking and attractive appearance.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications :

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• Must have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record and at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
• Ability to perform physical outdoor labor in a variety of weather conditions.
• Basic experience with tools equipment or maintenance tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.
• Previous groundskeeping maintenance landscaping or custodial experience.
• Experience operating power equipment (leaf blowers pressure washers etc.).
• Required to pass a background check drug test and motor vehicle record (MVR) check.
• Required to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
