Key Responsibilities

• Support analysis of power system operations market dynamics and generation behavior
• Assist in developing models for forecasting optimization and system performance
• Work with large datasets to extract insights and improve decision-making
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on research and modeling initiatives
• Present findings through reports and visualizations

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or intending to pursue a Masters or Ph.D. in Power Systems Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• Strong understanding of power systems fundamentals (e.g. generation transmission load dynamics)
• Experience with data analysis tools (Python SQL or similar)
• Familiarity with energy markets (e.g. ISO/RTO such as ERCOT PJM) is a plus
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with power system modeling tools or optimization techniques
• Knowledge of renewable integration congestion analysis or market forecasting
• Exposure to machine learning or statistical modeling
