Shipping Clerk 2nd Shift (18.11- 20.50 per hour)

Job Description

Pay rate: $18.11-$20.50 per hour

Coordinate the flow control the handling and storage of raw materials finished goods and labels through the warehouse by effectively using available areas.  Ensure accuracy of raw materials finished goods and label inventories.  Ensure building forklifts and palletizers are maintained at optimum operating levels.

Responsibilities:

1.    Assign/pick orders

2.    Schedule appointments for inbound and outbound trucks

3.    Enter data into PMOS

4.    Manage/store records according to the Records Management Program

5.    Assist with monthly inventory

6.    Back-up to Supervisor

7.    Serve as backup for the 1stshift Shipping Clerk performing assigned duties during absences or periods of increased workload.

8.    Enter data into and maintain shipping efficiency spreadsheet

9.    Track truck detention

10. Daily production entry

11. Enter movement sheets

12. Sort BOLs

13. Schedule/arrange delivery trucks

14. Receive inbound packages/supplies scan/complete in M3

15. Prepare and verify orders for next day

16. Adhere to and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP requirements

17. Adhere to and enforce all safety and environmental rules and regulations

18. Communicate with scheduler

19. Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

Qualifications

Education:  High School diploma or equivalent.  Associate degree preferred.

Related Experience:  3-5 years of relevant experience preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

Equipment/Software Skills:  Proficient (or ability to become proficient) use of Word/Excel and various inventory system.

Additional Information :

Physical: This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds climb stairs bend kneel stand for extended periods work in confined spaces and work at heights
