Job Summary

CSR Engineering is seeking an Entry-Level Structural Engineer to be based in one of our three TN office locations: Pleasant View Lebanon Shelbyville. This position is expected to begin no later than March of 2026.The Entry-Level Structural Engineer will support our Structural and Rail engineering services.

The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

Conducts engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
Creates designs calculations sketches diagrams schematic drawings and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
Computer-aided design and drafting of buildings and bridges using tools including but not limited to AutoCAD Civil3D etc
Organize and prepare reports maps drawings tests and other data to plan and design projects.
Field work including bridge inspections structural reviews and construction inspection.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering field with a concentration in structures.
Valid U.S. Drivers License
Ability to perform field duties as they arise.

Preferred Qualifications:

Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word Excel Outlook)
Demonstrated experience using AutoCAD and/or MicroStation for engineering-related projects including railroad structures highway bridges retaining walls and buildings.
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) preferred (not required)
Strong organizational technical and communications skills
Commitment to working efficiently to complete tasks within allotted schedule constraints.
