Purchasing

1. Direct and coordinate activities of team members in buying selling and distributing materials equipment and supplies.
2. Represent Paragon in negotiating contracts and formulating policies with suppliers.
3. Maintain vendor scorecard.
4. Source vendors of materials equipment or supplies and interview them to determine product availability and terms of sales.
5. Create purchase orders for the acquisition of materials.
6. Follow up on vendors status of purchase orders and update notes in system.
7. Responds to client group email inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
8. Carries out plant and inventory control policies and procedures.
9. Perform accurate data entry in Enterprise System.
10. Provides routine administrative support.

Pricing

1. Partner with finance to explore and find solutions for margin expansion.
2. Manage pricing execution including data integrity and consistency.
3. Take initiative in identifying and resolving issues around pricing and margins.
4. Review and approve non-standard pricing requests
5. Take ownership of process improvements and drive to successful implementation.
6. Provide formal and informal training related to various aspects of pricing and margin to all applicable associates.
7. All other duties assigned.

1. Education Associates Degree Required Bachelors Degree preferred in Purchasing Finance or Business with strong analytical background.

1. Experience 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Strong business analytic skill set. Demonstrated ability to multi-task and set priorities. 1. Physical Dexterity frequently required to stand; walk use hands to finger handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to sit climb balance stoop knell crouch or crawl. Frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects up to 25 pounds.
