OBGYN Hospitalist Opportunity in Rowlett TX!

Pediatrix Medical Group is in partnership with Baylor Scott & White Lakepoint Medical Center to provide OBGYN hospitalist services to the suburban Dallas community. We have an exciting opportunity for a per diem OB/GYN Hospitalist to join our team. Enjoy the flexibility of working on your terms while continuing to make a meaningful impact on womens health.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform OB triage and admissions
Attend deliveries and provide inpatient care
See unassigned patients and cover private calls
Cover the OB floor and conduct ER consults for GYN emergencies
Assist in surgical procedures particularly cesarean sections
Monitor fetal health and respond to emergencies in labor and delivery
Collaborate with in-house neonatologists and NNPs in a Level III NICU
Engage with maternal-fetal medicine specialists for high-risk pregnancies
Access 24/7 anesthesiology services

Qualifications:

Board Certified in OB/GYN (not accepting BE)
Active Texas license or IMLC
A minimum of 1 year of clinical activity
At least 6 months of clinical experience within the OB/GYN specialty
Completion of the Prescreen Questionnaire
Updated CV in MM/YYYY format with all gaps explained
Adherence to the rate structure
Self-query NPDB (should be pulled within 30 days of submission)

License and Certification Requirements:

Board Certified in OB/GYN
Active Texas medical license or participation in IMLC
