Job Title: Medical Assistant (Contract)

Duration: 8 Weeks
Schedule:
- Monday Thursday: 7:00 AM 4:00 PM
- Friday: 7:00 AM 12:00 PM
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support both clinical and administrative functions in a fast-paced healthcare setting. This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient workflow high-quality patient care and a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Room patients and accurately obtain/document vital signs
- Perform phlebotomy/venipuncture EKGs and point-of-care (POC) testing
- Assist with clinical procedures and administer vaccines as directed
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms for patient visits
- Schedule appointments manage phone calls and update EMR records
- Support providers during patient visits
- Assist with patient flow education and overall experience
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience (23 years preferred)
- Phlebotomy/venipuncture experience required
- Experience working with EMR systems
- Strong communication multitasking and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Medical Assistant Certification
- Occupational Health experience
