We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support both clinical and administrative functions in a fast-paced healthcare setting. This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient workflow high-quality patient care and a positive patient experience.
Responsibilities
Room patients and accurately obtain/document vital signs
Perform phlebotomy/venipuncture EKGs and point-of-care (POC) testing
Assist with clinical procedures and administer vaccines as directed
Prepare and maintain exam rooms for patient visits
Schedule appointments manage phone calls and update EMR records
Support providers during patient visits
Assist with patient flow education and overall experience
Required Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience (23 years preferred)
Phlebotomy/venipuncture experience required
Experience working with EMR systems
Strong communication multitasking and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
Medical Assistant Certification
Occupational Health experience
