Sorters play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient processing and handling of packages to enhance customer reliability and Job ResponsibilitiesEfficiently sort and inspect packages items into categories based on established criteriaWork closely with team members to meet sorting targets and ensure timely processing Adhere to safety and security protocols to ensure a safe working environment. All other duties as School Diploma or GED equivalent Previous experience in sorting or warehouse operations is a plus but not to work independently and as part of a team Ability to pay attention to detail to ensure accuracyAbility to lift/move up to 35 pounds solo and greater weights in a team-lift environmentLifting carrying bending stretching and standing for long periods of timeEmployees in all warehouse positions must be able to immediately perceive auditory warning signals such as bells alarms and horns that are used to warn employees of the start-up movement or approach of equipment (including forklifts turrets overhead cranes conveyors trucks and other equipment operated inside or outside the warehouse) mechanical abnormalities and similar risk situations during warehouse operations
