Job Summary
Seaman USD #345 has an opening for an Assistant Cheerleader Coach for the 2026-27 school year.
Candidate must have coaching experience and/or have competed in Cheerleading.
This position includes but is not limited to the following duties:
- Instruct and facilitate cheers and stunts for sidelines halftimes and competitions
- Provide an environment welcoming to all cheerleaders
- Promote and provide the highest possible level of safety protocols
- Communicate with cheer squad and parents in various mediums
- Be proactive in selecting cheerleaders during tryouts
- Must be able to handle any problems within the cheerleading squad and assign appropriate discipline measures
- Supervise the cheerleaders during practices pep assemblies activities and contests
- Assists the team with conditioning and strength training
- Assists with the end of the season banquet
- Assumes any other duties as assigned by the Head Cheer Coach.
