Job Summary
The Simulation Technician is responsible for preparing and maintaining skills lab equipment supplies media computers and materials related to simulation learning.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Responsible for proper setup reset operation breakdown and technical support of simulation activities. Conduct preventative maintenance checks and services of simulation equipment while adhering to all established protocols. Communicate repairs and troubleshooting to appropriate personnel. Operate patient simulator for simulation activities. Operation will be based off of other ongoing priorities. Assist and train instructors and simulation facilitators on simulation equipment. Maintain current knowledge of simulation equipment supplies media computers moulage and materials related to simulation learning. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Technical or Associates degree in supporting disciplines such as biomedical medical electronics computer information technologies supply management or equivalent required.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors or higher degree preferred. One (1) year of simulation-based experience in the healthcare profession.
Work Schedule
Monday Friday; 8:00am-5:00pm May require some travel.
