Job Description

Duties of this position include:

• Provide management oversight of our Third Party Administrators Workers Compensation claim personnel by monitoring claims on-line using our Third Party Administrators claims system
• Review monthly loss runs trends reportable claims and/or problematic claims
• Must be pro-active
• Provide superior claim services to internal and external claim partners
• Participate in reviews with insureds brokers and Third Party Claim Administrators
• Interface with Underwriters regarding claim status exposures. Discuss trends and other factors impacting their risks
• Prepare and present internal management reports for claims with net exposure to Starr Indemnity & Liability Company in excess of $250000 as required
• Maintain and/or obtain any state adjuster licenses as directed by management
• Participate in special projects

Skills Required:

• 5 years handling oversight of Workers Compensation Claims
• East Coast Workers Compensation experience preferred
• Strong understanding of technical and coverage issues
• College degree
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Must be self-motivated and a team player
