Job Description
Duties of this position include:
Provide management oversight of our Third Party Administrators Workers Compensation claim personnel by monitoring claims on-line using our Third Party Administrators claims system
Review monthly loss runs trends reportable claims and/or problematic claims
Must be pro-active
Provide superior claim services to internal and external claim partners
Participate in reviews with insureds brokers and Third Party Claim Administrators
Interface with Underwriters regarding claim status exposures. Discuss trends and other factors impacting their risks
Prepare and present internal management reports for claims with net exposure to Starr Indemnity & Liability Company in excess of $250000 as required
Maintain and/or obtain any state adjuster licenses as directed by management
Participate in special projects
Skills Required:
5 years handling oversight of Workers Compensation Claims
East Coast Workers Compensation experience preferred
Strong understanding of technical and coverage issues
College degree
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Ability to multi-task and prioritize
Must be self-motivated and a team player
