Job Title: Locum OB/GYN Physician

Join a dedicated team at a Trauma Level II facility located in the picturesque city of Cadillac Michigan. This practice is equipped with a level 1 nursery and maintains a strong collaborative relationship with a Maternal Fetal Medicine group in Grand Rapids. This position requires dedication to patient care and a willingness to engage in both clinic and occasional surgical responsibilities. The OB/GYN will be needed for 10 clinic shifts per month Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm with some nights and weekend call shifts available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attend deliveries including both cesarean sections and vaginal births.
• Respond to emergent OB issues in the emergency department.
• Admit and discharge OB patients from inpatient settings.
• Provide quality care in collaboration with the maternal fetal medicine group.
• Utilize Cerner EMR for patient documentation and management.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified OB/GYN (no Board Eligible candidates).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Local drive-in providers preferred.
• Valid Michigan medical license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) certification at the time of application.
• Clean background for quick credentialing.
• COVID vaccination required at the time of name clearance.
• Currently participates in Michigan Medicaid/CHAMPS.
• Self-Query NPDB (should be pulled within the month at the time of presentation).

License and Certification Requirements:

• Michigan State License or IMLC.
• Board Certification in OB/GYN.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
