The Role: Advanced Coordination & BIM Automation
Unlike standard production roles this position focuses on high-level coordination and leveraging technology to streamline engineering workflows. You will perform less "heads-down" production modeling and more BIM management focusing on interoperability API utilization and clash detection within the heavy industrial sector.
Key Responsibilities
BIM Standardization: Lead the integration of internal and client-specific BIM Standards across the project lifecycle.
Federated Model Management: Collaborate with Project Managers and interdisciplinary design teams to maintain high-quality federated models.
Technical Troubleshooting: Resolve complex model interoperability issues and provide expert-level support for designers.
BIM Execution Plans (BEP): Author promote and manage project-specific BIM Execution Plans to ensure seamless project delivery.
Innovation & Scripting: Leverage Coding and API utilization to automate modeling tasks and enhance software functionality.
Interdisciplinary Coordination: Facilitate seamless communication between disciplines to generate coordinated consistent and clash-free engineering packages.

Candidate Requirements
Expert Software Knowledge: Deep professional experience with Navisworks and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) is mandatory.
Specialized Expertise: Proven experience with Plant 3D and Heavy Industrial project environments is highly preferred (Revit experience is a plus).
Automation Skills: A foundational knowledge of coding/APIs to drive efficiency in BIM software.
Communication Mastery: Strong ability to interact with internal engineering staff and high-value clients.
Travel: Ability to travel occasionally to client job sites for project meetings and site visits.
