PROJECT MANAGER/PROGRAM MANAGER (ONSITE/SAN JOSE CA)

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITES:

- The Finance Business Process Expert role is centered on driving end-to-end efficiency improvements across core finance processes. Primary initiatives include reimagining Accounts - Payable operations and optimizing financial close activities with a potential third initiative related to fixed assets or FP&A support. The role spans discovery analysis redesign and implementation of process improvements within a complex global manufacturing environment.

- Lead strategic Finance transformation programs and end-to-end project delivery from definition through execution adoption and value realization.

- Partner with executive sponsors and Finance leadership to define scope success metrics timelines resourcing and governance.

- Apply structured program and project management practices to plan execute monitor and de-risk multi-phase initiatives.

- Proactively identify assess and mitigate risks and issues; escalate as needed.

- Lead process initiatives embedded within programs including defining scope success measures and improvement opportunities.

- Establish and monitor KPIs to track delivery progress process performance and business impact.

- Coordinate cross functional team0073 and vendors to ensure alignment and accountability.

- Facilitate cross-functional process reviews and improvement efforts to reduce pain points.

- Drive change management activities including communication training UAT coordination and operational readiness.

- Communicate status risks dependencies and outcomes clearly to senior leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Business or related field (or equivalent experience)

- 10 years of experience in SAP S4 finance transformation program/project management or process driven initiatives

- Strong SAP S/4 HANA implementation experience

- Proven track record leading large cross functional programs with measurable results

- Experience leading initiatives that include process improvement and operational change

- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferred (Green Belt considered with strong leadership experience)

- PMP or equivalent certification preferred

- Experience with Business Finance systems and reporting/analytics platforms

- Strong ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels in a matrixed organization

- Experience with finance platforms and analytics/reporting ecosystems (e.g. ERP Finance close/reconciliation tooling BI/data platforms) as relevant to your environment
