Senior Financial Analyst

• Perform advanced financial analyses to support VHA transformation and modernization initiatives
• Develop detailed cost estimates and budget projections to inform strategic and operational decision-making
• Support financial planning execution and monitoring activities in compliance with applicable federal financial regulations and policies
• Analyze financial management processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency transparency and fiscal accountability
• Evaluate compliance with federal accounting standards internal control requirements and relevant government guidance
• Prepare and support the delivery of milestone reports executive briefings and decision-support materials for key stakeholders

• Bachelors degree in finance accounting economics or a related field from an accredited institution
• Minimum of eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in financial management analysis or budgeting
• Demonstrated experience supporting federal agencies or large healthcare systems preferably the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and/or the Veterans Health Administration (VHA)
• Working knowledge of the Planning Programming Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) process federal financial management regulations and internal control frameworks
• Ability to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship
• Ability to obtain a public trust
