Summary
Responsible for supporting key HR functions including employee relations recruitment benefits administration performance management training compliance and HRIS processes. This role partners with managers and employees to support a positive workplace culture and ensure effective HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a point of contact for HR-related questions and employee support
- Support recruitment onboarding and new hire orientation processes
- Administer benefits programs and assist with open enrollment
- Manage employee relations issues and provide guidance to supervisors
- Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws
- Maintain accurate HR records reports and HRIS data
- Support safety programs workers compensation and return-to-work processes
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors including staffing agencies
- Assist with HR projects reporting and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in HR or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5 years of HR generalist experience
- Knowledge of HR practices employment laws and HRIS systems
- Strong communication organization and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certification
- Experience in manufacturing or multi-site environments
