We are seeking a qualified AviationNDT Inspector specializing at our Landing Gear Services facility in Medley Florida to perform non-destructive testing inspections on aircraft components. The ideal candidate will ensure the safety reliability and compliance of aircraft landing gear by using approved NDT methods. The NDT Inspector is responsible for ensuring that inspections are performed in accordance with the manufacturers instructions NDT Manual of GA Telesis requirements as applicable.2nd Shift Hours are2:00PM-10:30PM Mon-Fri.

Eligibility Requirement: Only U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspectionand establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
  • Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results
  • Communication: excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills
  • Conduct NDT for the acceptance of parts and document the results if a demonstration of proficiency in this ability was included in the practical examination
  • Have a general knowledge of other NDT methods product manufacturing and inspection technologies used by the employer
  • Perform Quality Control Inspections as required and record all inspection functions on applicable paperwork in accordance with the customer policies and procedures
  • Analytical skills: must be able to gather information and use data to determine cause and effect for complex problem solving
  • Verify that routine inspections and checks the NDI equipment are accomplished as per the manufacturers instructions
  • Ensuring that the inspection tools and equipment including inspection aids used to perform inspections are in proper working order and the proper calibration information is affixed
  • Other duties as instructed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Landing Gear inspection experiences a plus for this role.
  • Level II Certification in both MT and PT
  • Quality inspection aerospace aircraft inspection NDT Ultrasonic NDT Level 2
  • Level II certification for one or more applicable NDT disciplines
