Job Summary

Position Overview:
The Clinical Assistant is a vital support role within the dental clinic ensuring smooth daily operations maintaining clinical readiness and helping deliver timely high-quality patient care. This individual works closely with doctors dental assistants hygienists and sterilization staff to manage schedules assist with patient flow and uphold hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and update the daily schedule for doctors including new patient assignments family notes and Dr. Jennings patient transfers
Distribute accurate updated schedules to all doctors
Maintain the same-day tracking sheet and end-of-day totals
Provide hygiene support including perio charting
Set up procedure trays in advance to streamline assistant workflow
Turn over hygiene and treatment rooms between patients
Support sterilization efforts with team members (e.g. assist Cate when available)
Stock clinical rooms daily and refill water bottles
Act as a clinic runner to support real-time needs of the clinical team

Qualifications:

Prior experience in a dental or clinical setting
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Team-oriented with a strong commitment to patient-centered care
