We are seeking an ambitious organized and detail-oriented Federal Capture & Proposal Analyst to join our team in an entry-level role supporting federal business development. This position is ideal for a recent college graduate or early-career professional interested in government contracting business development strategic communications and proposal development.
In this role you will help our team identify and track federal opportunities support responses to sources sought notices and RFIs organize capture materials and assist with proposal coordination and development. Over time you will gain hands-on experience in federal capture strategy and RFP response development while working closely with leadership and technical staff.
This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys writing research deadlines and turning information into clear organized deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and track federal opportunities including sources sought notices RFIs and RFPs
- Support opportunity research using procurement platforms and internal tools
- Assist with drafting responses to sources sought notices capability summaries and other pre-solicitation materials
- Help organize and maintain pursuit files past performance information staff resumes project sheets and content libraries
- Support development of compliance matrices proposal outlines and submission checklists
- Coordinate with internal staff to collect technical content qualifications and required forms
- Assist with editing formatting proofreading and assembling proposal documents
- Track deadlines amendments and submission requirements for active pursuits
- Participate in capture and proposal planning meetings and help document action items
- Support continuous improvement of internal capture and proposal processes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in English Communications Business Marketing Public Policy Political Science Government Journalism Engineering Management or a related field
- Strong writing editing and proofreading skills
- Strong research and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Interest in federal contracting public sector work capture and proposal development
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship part-time or campus project experience involving writing research project coordination or communications
- Familiarity with federal agencies public procurement or government contracting concepts
- Experience editing long-form documents or coordinating group projects with deadlines
- Interest in the AEC engineering construction environmental or professional services industries
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat SharePoint or document management tools
